November 17, 2011 - MHS Crew Team Races to Head of the Charles Regatta
Girls Capture Third Place Medal -Manhasset High School's Crew team sent three varsity boats to compete in the 47th Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston in late October.  This storied regatta has been an antumn tadition since 1965, and Manhasset's team has participated in the world's largest regatta for the past seven years.  Head Coach Hugo Guardado-Henriquez and Assistant Varsity Coaches Chris Mare and Tara Marsigliano congratulated all of the athletes on Manhasset's success in this highly competitive and prestigious regatta. November 17, 2011 -  Record Setting Performance for Girls Swim Team
The Manhasset Girls Swimming and Diving Team competed in the Nassau County Team Championships held at the Nassau Aquadic Center on Nov. 2, Nov. 4 and Nov. 5.  The MHS team followed up a strong Division meet with an incredible showing at the County Campionships.  This performance included two new school record, seven All-Conference recipients, five State Qualifiers and highlight reel of lifetime best performances.  The team finished third overall in Nassau County scoring 342 points.  CONGRATULATIONS LADIES! November 17, 2011 - Cross Country Athletes Earn All-State Honors
This past weekend, Mary Welsh, Charlie Morris and Stephen Bourguet traveled to Verona, NY to represent Manhasset at the New York State Public High School Cross Country Championships hosted by Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School. All three athletes will also be competing at one of two National Regional Qualifying meets - The Footlocker Northeast Regional or the Nike Cross New York Regional - both to be held on Nov. 26. . November 5, 2011 - Manhasset Cross Country Places Second at Counties
The Boys Varsity team completed its competitive team schedule this past weekend with a Second Place finish at the Nassau County B Championships at Bethpage State Park. Bourguet Takes Individual County Title - Stephen Bourguet became the first athlete in Manhasset's history to claim the overall Nassau County Title, leading the race from the gun and finishing in 16:04, breaking his own record along the way.  Teammate and fellow captain Charlie Morris (16.41) finished third in the race and will join Bourguet in representing Manhasset next weekend at the NYSPHAA Cross Country Championships in Verona, NY.

October 27, 2011 - Manhasset Girls Swim Team
Kayla Young broke a school record in the 100 butterfly.  The record was set by Lauren Gilhooly in 1999 at 102.11.  The new record set by Kayla is 101.67   CONGRATULATIONS KAYLA!
